SIMPLY THE VERY BIGGEST & BEST BANDMILL MADE IN AMERICA!

At last – the size, mass, and raw power
super-pros need

Our smaller TK mills are excellent machines. But if you’re thinking BIG, think about the new TimberKing 2400. Weighing in at over 2.5 tons, it’s the biggest, boldest, and best mill made in America.

Why so big?

Because high-end, super-professional operations require all the capacity they can get. Plus, lots of local circle mills won’t take logs this big – so prices on huge logs can be low… yet the wood that comes out of them is worth just as much! And with the 2400’s huge 32" throat and jumbo 36” and beyond cutting capacity, you go into any job knowing your mill can handle it.

And – let’s face it – there are those who won’t buy anything less than the very biggest, best, baddest machinery. If that describes you, you’ve just found your ultimate mill.

68HP 4-Cylinder  Kubota Diesel Engine provides all the muscle you need to power through even the biggest logs. Cutting rates in 12” thick oak of up to 60 fpm.*

4-Post Carriage Support System eliminates blade deflection, guarantees consistent carriage-to-bed alignment. Twice the blade support of standard cantilever mills, four times the support of “single mast” mills.

Massive Cutting Throat dwarfs the competition. 32” between the guide rollers, 20” clearance above the blade, 36” max clearance above the log deck gives you the capacity to easily handle even the biggest logs.

Massive, 25”-diameter blade wheels extend blade life, increase log capacity. Precision machined cast wheels run on factory-sealed bearings.

Computer Setworks cuts board after board to specific thickness you select with the flip of a switch.

Hinged Blade Wheel Covers for quick, easy blade changes.

Greaseable 3" Blade Guide Rollers
greaseable bearings and large diameter dramatically increase blade and bearing life.

Electric Blade Clutch comes standard, blade engages with the flip of a switch.

Hydraulic Roller Toe Boards let you get the best boards from tapered logs.

Optional Debarker cuts a clean path for blade – increases blade life and cut accuracy.

TimberKing direct lube system applies TimberKing lubricants in a thin film directly onto the blade. EXCLUSIVE gravity-feed system with no motors or small parts to fail.

Hydraulic Swing Command Post give full and flexible view of cutting operations. Hydraulic controls are direct drive for smooth, variable control...eliminates jerky on/off found with electric-control hydraulics.

Hydraulic Log Loader with twin, 5-ton rams, 1” thick steel loading arms, self-attenuating supports, 8,500 lbs. capacity!

High-speed hydraulic dogging system allows you to remain at control panel. One lever moves powerful spike in and out. A second lever moves spike to the perfect height for every cut.

Hydraulic Chain Log Turner lets
you easily turn logs in both directions for perfect positioning.

Hydraulic Chain Drive Cutting Head provides dependable, solid-state blade feed…eliminates slippage of cable-drive systems.

4 Hydraulic Vertical Log Stops -
the same dependable design we’ve been using for years.

Heavy Duty Industrial Energy Chain binds hydraulics in a coat of protective armor…safe from abrasion and damage. Lines are tucked along side of machine, can’t get caught on over-hanging limbs, branches or gateways.

Six 2,000-lb sidewind jacks come standard, provide maximum stability and fast, easy leveling.

10 BUILT-LIKE-A-TANK FEATURES
Make the 2400 the Super-Pro King of Them All!

2 Electric Blade Clutch – Flip of a switch engages and disengages blade. This feature comes standard - costs hundred extra on other brands!
3 39" Capacity, 36" Cutting Throat – The 2400 features the widest cutting throat of any major manufacturer's mill. 2400 will cut straight through the center of a 36" diameter log...will easily handle logs up to and beyond 39" in diameter.
4 Available Computer Setworks – The latest technology maximizes yield from every cant, boards are perfectly dimensioned, cut after cut after cut.
5 The Human Touch – When you call TimberKing a human being answers and helps get you to the right place.  Our sales-people are on salary -- not commission -- which means they're not trying to make a "quick sale." They give you good honest information to help you find the right machine for your needs.
6 Full Hydraulics – Hydraulic blade feed, blade up/down, log loaders, dual-action log clamp, log stops, chain log turner, toe boards all come standard.
7 Solid Steel Hinged Blade Covers – Blade changes are a snap with the 2400's convenient hinged covers. Solid steel construction eliminates tear-through danger of plywood covers found on other brands.
8 Protected Hydraulic Lines are tucked safely in heavy-duty industrial energy chain, eliminates pinch-point wear and tree-branch abrasion common with over-head hydraulic lines.
9 Tandem Axle Transport Package – Two axles provide plenty of support and positive traction for the massive 2400 mill.
10 Strongest, Longest Warranty Protection – We're so confident in the rugged construction of the 2400 mill we back it up with TimberKing's exclusive 30-Day Money Back Guarantee, 2-Year Limited Mechanical Warranty, and 5-Year Limited Cutting-Deck Warranty.

2400 Q&A:

Q: What’s the difference between the 2000 and the 2400?

A: The differences boil down to capacity and power. The 2000 will handle logs up to 36” in diameter, but this is a maximum capacity. The 2400 is rated to handle logs 36” and beyond. That means the 2400’s cutting head will easily fit around 36” logs and it can handle bigger material. The 2000’s standard motor is 37HP. This is plenty of power for most professional sawing. But the 2400’s 68HP power plant puts much more power and torque behind the blade. This allows for much faster cutting rates and substantially higher daily production.

Q: How does the 2400 stack up against other mills in its class?

A: Like all TimberKing mills, the 2400 is the Value Leader of its class. 2400’s cutting throat is much larger than other brands, meaning it can handle big logs more easily. 2400 comes standard with features that either aren’t available with other mills or cost thousands extra: tandem axle transport package, chain log turner, hydraulic blade feed, hydraulic blade up/down, hinged all-steel blade covers, electric blade clutch and protected hydraulic lines. Because the 2400 is built heavy, it outweighs some other brands by almost 1200 pounds! And because we know it’s built right, the 2400 is backed with the strongest warranties in the industry.

Q: The 2400 is a huge mill! Can I take it into the woodlot?

A: Sometimes the logs come to you, but far more frequently, sawyers have to go where the trees grow. The 2400 is a true professional machine, built to handle the steepest, most rugged logging roads imaginable and retain its trueness – thanks to the 4-Post Cutting Head and welded steel deck. Protected hydraulic lines means there’s no need to worry about damage from over-hanging branches and limbs when you’re pulling your mill into a tight spot.
